Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Warehouse (DWH) department, playing a pivotal role in managing and analyzing data for regulatory reporting purposes. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data analytics, particularly in Teradata, and possess a comprehensive understanding of the banking industry's regulatory landscape.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the DWH team to analyze and interpret complex data sets for regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain data models, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval in Teradata.
  • Design and implement data validation processes to ensure the quality of regulatory reports.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulatory reporting requirements and adapt data processes accordingly.

 

Key Competencies:

  • Expertise in Teradata, including strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Data Modeling: Strong understanding of data modeling principles for designing efficient and scalable data structures.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements in the banking industry - Basel III & Basel IV, Finrep, SRB, IFRS9, ESG
  • ETL Processes: Experience with designing and implementing ETL processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst in a banking environment.
  • Knowledge of Credit & Financial Risk, Finance, ALM or ESG
  • Professional Level of English: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
