Senior Java Developer (Varna)

You will be part of a team responsible for the sale, development and processing of banking products to support companies' import and export activities, international trade so to speak (Trade Finance). Bank guarantees, documentary credits and forfaiting are just some of the products on offer. At Trade Finance, we serve clients in KBC & CBC (+ branches), CSOB-CZ, CSOB-SK and K&H.

As our Senior Java Developer, you would have the following responsibilities:

• Maintain the applications (solve bugs) and build new functionalities when needed.
• For both aspects you discuss with the functional analysts and/or application managers what is needed.
• You implement tests and adapt them when and where needed.
• You deploy your implementations.
• You contact other teams within our organization when there are issues or if you need extra input from technical experts within our organization.

Key competences that will help you succeed:

• 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot.
• Experience with development RESTful web services, JSON, HTTP.
• Excellent knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle.
• Experience with version control using Git.
• Experience in unit and integration tests using Junit and Mockito.

A significant advantage would be to have:

• Familiarity with CI/CD build pipelines (Jenkins)
• Good knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Knowledge of Maven.
• Knowledge of Tomcat for application deployment.
• Experience with Linux.
