You will be part of the Service to Employee department. We deliver capabilities needed for a hybrid and digital collaboration workplace (O365, telephony, mail, hybrid working rooms); application delivery competence centers for Sharepoint, .NET & Copilot Studio + Azure AI Foundry; My Kate application used by all Belgium employees.
Our department is constantly undergoing changes. Next to the ever changing architecture of our Microsoft environment, we are also embarking on a new endeavor, building GenAI bots to improve the employee experience and disclosing those via the My Kate to support all employees in their day-to-day work;

As our System architect, you would have the following responsibilities:
- Translate conceptual ideas to concrete solutions and design these solutions with a clear view on how the architecture should evolve, while adhering the necessary security principles;
- Connect the dots, bring teams together and define the architecture of our solutions across different client segments and technologies;
- Take into account all solution alternatives during the idea and feasibility phase;
- Do research about the feasibility of scope, budget, time-to-market and ability to execute;
- Ensure the chosen solutions are supported within the organization, with technical experts, other system architects and enterprise architecture;
- Pitch the conclusion on the DSB’s to ensure teams can work on a widely support solution;
- Work closely with PM & PO’s to pitch feature groups on the LPM roadmap to make our current IT architecture a better place.
Key competences that will help you succeed:
- Keen understanding of various architectural & framework offerings, with the ability to design flexible & lasting architecture;
- Ability to translate conceptual and strategic concepts into concrete solutions and advice, presented convincingly in customer-understandable language;
- Focus on quality, performance, security, and stability;
- Knowledge of IT Architecture, Platform Architecture, Architecture Modelling, and IT Standards, procedures, and policies;
- Planning (tactical and strategical);
- Collaboration and results orientation.
