Test Engineer (Maternity Cover)

We are looking for a new curious, humble and driven Test Engineer to join us in Varna on a fixed-term maternity cover contract!
The team is working on a QA software implementation and products which are being used by more than 3 million users, mostly in Belgium, but also in Bulgaria, Czechia, Hungary or Slovakia. We are focused on digitalization, that drives the testing of applications and trying to make them more trustworthy and enjoyable for the end user.
Job Description:
As our Test Engineer, you would have the following responsibilities:
- Analyzing the requirements from the client
- Participating in preparing test plans, test scenarios and test cases
- Defect tracking
- Collating and monitoring the defect management process
- Managing the changes and executing regression tests
- Coming up with exact solutions for problems related to Quality improvement
- Interacting with customers/clients to solve the various issues they face and updating on the situation
- Close Coordination & Collaboration with Internal Stakeholder/ External Stakeholders and Vendors
Key competences that will help you succeed:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Knowledge of bug tracking software - Jira, Confluence
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to think analytically and problem-solve
A significant advantage would be to have:
- Previous experience in incoming and outgoing international payments/SWIFT handling
- Participation in Automation testing projects
- Knowledge or practical skills in SOAP UI, GIT, Selenium, JMeter technologies
- Knowledge of Hungarian or Slovak language
