We are looking for a new driven teammate to join us in Sofia! The team is working on QA software implementation and products which are being used by more than 3 million users, mostly in Belgium, but also in Bulgaria, Czechia, Hungary or Slovakia. We are focused on digitalization, that drives the testing of applications and trying to make them more trustworthy and enjoyable for the end user.
Job description:
As our Test Engineer, you would have the following responsibilities:
- Ensuring project QA (Quality Assurance);
- Preparation and implementation of functional integration tests, regression, smoke tests using JIRA, SOAP UI, GIT, Selenium, JMeter technologies;
- Defining and running functional and non-functional test cases, preparation and maintenance of test data;
- Solution of detected defects and overall evaluation of the success of testing;
- Active communication with the product owner, understanding and commenting on business assignments;
- Cooperation with development components: analysts, programmers, specialists for automated testing;
- Preparation of test documentation (test case writing) ;
- Monitoring and support in troubleshooting products and applications in live operation.
Key competencies that will help you succeed:
- At least 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance;
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle;
- Experience working with SOAP UI, Selenium, JMeter technologies;
- Knowledge of bug tracking software - Jira, Confluence, Bugzilla, HP QC;
- In-depth understanding of API’s and ability to test, analyze and debug SOAP and REST API requests/responses, including handling XML and JSON payloads;
- Experience with Postman;
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written);
- Interest in technologies;
- Ability to think analytically and problem-solve.
A significant advantage would be:
- Some experience with automation testing
