Application Manager (Customer Handling)

Banking systems are specific and technically varied. Application Managers are responsible for testing of system changes and have close cooperation with ICT department so the process flow are aligned. They are ensuring the proper functioning of the applications, providing support to operations and implementing new features in various projects.  This requires technical and analytical capabilities. Job Description:

 

As an Application Manager , you would have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Participation in technical application development from start to finish (client requirements - communication with IT in KBC Group);
  • Compiling the test plan and its subsequent implementation, providing support and user training;
  • Incident management and resolution, coordination of follow-up actions;
  • Reporting in SQL, using Jira and Confluence;
  • Participation in projects.

 

Key competences that will help you succeed:

 

  • Previous experience on similar position or a relevant background - minimum 1 year;
  • Intermediate MS Office Excel knowledge;
  • Excellent English skills (you will communicate intensively with KBC colleagues from different locations);
  • Analytical and communication skills (you will receive non-standard cases where you need to find a solution every day);
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of Jira/Confluence;
  • Interest in IT (e.g. websites, databases and everything in the tech world);
  • Thinking in context.
