As a Data Analyst, you will work with business partners to build a high-quality data environment on our big data platform, using tools and technologies such as Python and Qlik Sense, while turning data into clear business insights that support informed decision-making and continued growth.

As our Data Analyst, you would have the following responsibilities:

• Work with business partners to build a high-quality data environment on our platform
• Use tools and technologies such as Appian, Qlik Sense and Python which will enable us to make data-driven decisions for continued growth
• Participate in all aspects of the data analytics process, including understanding data needs, gathering data, cleaning, and structuring data, analyzing data, and reporting on results of the analysis
• Investigate and analyze data to generate business insights for clients and stakeholders, with attention to policy-related and content-driven topics.Gather and analyze statistical information using specialist tools
• Collect required data and apply appropriate analysis techniques to form conclusions and maintain good communication with stakeholders.

Key competencies that will help you succeed:

• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and constantly seeking to learn
• Knowledge of financial services and credit modeling, or a willingness to learn
• Passion for statistics, data analysis, and data visualization
• Interest in big data and business intelligence, eager to learn new tools and technologies
• Strong analytical skills and ability to uncover insights from data
• Affinity with policy and content, and the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present insights with maximum value to stakeholders
• Good understanding of visualization best practices and translating “facts and figures” into content & policy.

A significant advantage would be to have:

• Knowledge of Appian QlikSense, or Python programming language
• Knowledge of SQL, NOSQL, or SAS.
