IT Team Manager

As our IT Team Manager, you would have the following responsibilities:   

 

  • Supporting the recruitment efforts, adaptation and on-boarding of new team members   
  • Identifying development opportunities and ensuring appropriate training and mentoring  
  • Evaluating the performance of the team members and making decisions regarding rewards, bonuses and remuneration  
  • Promoting a positive work environment and communicating with employees clearly and regularly
  • Guiding and mentoring your team members
  • Coordinating IT sessions every couple of weeks  
  • Liaising with other stakeholders in the organization to ensure effective cooperation and delivery of desired outcomes
     

Key competences that will help you succeed:   

 

  • Prior people management experience
  • Experience with co-operation across borders  
  • Corporate background
  • Overall understanding of Data pipelines, data lake and data warehouse (Python, PySpark, Airflow, AWS)  
  • Understanding of the Data Engineer role and responsibilities

A significant advantage would be to have:

 

  • IT background or education/technical skills
  • SAFe/Agile experience
  • University degree in business, economic, management or equivalent
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Experience leading distributed/virtual teams
