As a Reporting Analyst with a focus on data quality, you will play a key role in ensuring that the data behind our management reports is accurate, consistent, and fit for purpose. You’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to monitor data flows, resolve issues, and drive improvements in how data is managed and reported across the KBC Group.

 

As our Reporting Analyst in GRS DQIP team, you would have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor and validate the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data used in reporting processes;
  • Identify and investigate data quality issues, coordinating resolution and follow-up actions;
  • Maintain incident and problem tracking related to reporting data, ensuring transparency and accountability;
  • Collaborate with varied teams, including IT and Business, to facilitate communication and ensure alignment on data flows and reporting structures;
  • Present data quality insights and reporting updates to internal stakeholders, including senior management;
  • Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and tools that highlight data quality metrics;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, with a strong focus on process understanding and proposing enhancements to reporting workflows.

 

 

Key competences that will help you succeed:

 

  • A proactive analyst with strong ownership and attention to detail;
  • Interest in understanding business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate understanding and collaboration between technical and business teams, without requiring deep expertise in both domains;
  • Experience in data quality management, incident/problem tracking, or operational monitoring;
  • Educational background in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar platforms for Incident and Problem management;
  • Strong Excel skills, experience with Qlik Sense or similar reporting tools is an advantage;
  • Understanding databases, data warehouses, and data layer structures is beneficial but not mandatory;
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to spot patterns, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities;
  • Fluency in English is essential.
