The main focus of the team is Kate Coin, part of Group Application Services department. KateCoin teams work all year round on new features, optimizing our architecture and making sure our solutions remain future proof. For this specific job, you would be joining the Backoffice team, consisting of analysts, infrastructure responsible colleagues, Backend developers and Frontend developers. As an Angular developer, your focus would be on the tool that is used by internal KBC Group colleagues to set-up Kate Coin campaigns and offerings.

As our Angular developer, you would have the following responsibilities:
- Develop new capabilities for Kate Coin, working with Angular and KBC-specific library to enhance the internal front-end tool;
- Create and execute test cases and modify existing software for production;
- Conduct self and peer code reviews;
- Resolve assigned incidents and defects and track them to closure;
- Execute technical integration testing of the application in relation to interfacing applications;
- Bring code through different test environments;
- Improve the existing codebase and contribute to keeping systems healthy and maintainable;
- Collaborate closely with the team and other stakeholders;
- Contribute to making Kate Coin a continued success.
Key competences that will help you succeed:
- 5+ years of experience with Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS;
- Experience with API integration;
- Experience translating functional requirements into high-quality code;
- Experience writing unit and integration tests;
- Experience creating and reviewing technical designs;
- Experience reviewing pull requests;
- Knowledge of Git.
A significant advantage would be to have:
- Experience in the financial sector;
- Experience in or willing to learn Java, Spring technologies, AWS services;
- Knowledge of SAST tooling and ability to set it up;
- Ability to identify improvements in the Secure Development Lifecycle.
