The TAI team is responsible for the installation, maintenance, roadmap, configuration, customization and tuning of all infrastructure components related to information security, in support of IRM, Cyber and IT Risk and Group CERT. Interconnecting all these systems is a part of your responsibilities. We understand like no other that security is of the utmost importance. Financial companies, more than others, follow all trends in the context of security. You will be dealing with a rapidly evolving landscape in a domain that demands more and more attention in the digital world.

As our System Engineer, you would have the following responsibilities:
 
•    Contributing to the security of our critical servers and systems.
•    Ensuring that our security analysts are able to have the right things at their disposal  in order to detect and analyze security incidents efficiently and correctly.
•    Being responsible for the application management of our various systems. This includes the following responsibilities and tasks: maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, monitoring.
•    Managing the security related log flows: Log collection of network and file based log sources in collaboration with the ELK team, both of applications and infrastructure components; Log collection of SQL databases, Managed File Transfers and (cloud) APIs; Setting up filtering and data transformation.
•    Preparing setup of new infrastructure together with the architects and get it approved by our organization.

Qualifications:
o    BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
o    (very) good understanding of English, both spoken & written
o    Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
o    You are assertive, convincing and diplomatic at the same time. 
o    You have strong organizational and self-management skills. You love taking ownership and you have a high level of autonomy
o    You also have strong communication skills, both for interacting with your colleagues and with your internal customers/stakeholders
o    You are well acquainted with online collaboration tooling & according mindset

Technical expertise:

The job of Systems Engineer is very diverse, spreading across a wide array of technical skills/expertise. We don’t expect all engineers to master all below aspects in depth (from the start), but as a team we support each other and continuously evolve our individual skills through peer-learning.
o    VMWare
o    BladeLogic
o    Windows Server
o    Red Hat Enterprise Linux
o    Storage, backups and networks
o    UAC scheduling
o    Some scripting skills (Python, Bash, Powershell)
