The Belgian bank-insurance group KBC took the strategic decision to open up a Digital Development Center in the sea capital. This is the second center of KBC in Varna – the Shared Service Center was established in 2019 and recently reached over 300 employees, strengthening its position as a leading employer. 

KBC Digital Development Center will share one roof with Shared Service Center in the building of the former Pfohe Mall. To accommodate their future growth, the two centers have taken another floor of the building, spreading their office space to 'XX' square meters. 

KBC Digital Development Center will be focused on executing a variety of IT projects and operations, supporting the digital transformation of the bank-insurance entities within KBC Group. The initial plans include recruitment of 100 people by the end of 2021, creating exciting new career opportunities, especially in the IT field - in areas such as agile software development, application management, process management and more. 

Todor Petkov, who has been appointed General Manager of KBC Digital Development Center, says:
